very good food. I'd give then a 5 if they had not cut our order wrong
Good views, wine specials. Food pales in comparison to plantation restaurants and nearby city mainstays. But if you're stuck in New Roads, what else are you gonna do?
The service was horrible! We got seated fairly quickly. The server seemed as though she had too many customers to handle. Took a while to get our drinks. We were served no bread until we asked for it. Appetizers took to long to come out. The food took an ETERNITY to come out. By the time our food was served ( almost an hour later) we had already drank several glasses of tea, (which by the way, we had to ask for) and were full. Food came out cold and my husband's baked potato was still cold, hard and crunchy. Would never return here!! Save your money and go elsewhere!
Nice water views across False River. Varied menu of local favorites. Ample portions. Fried foods overly fried.
I am trying to decide what went wrong. Two out of three Appetizers were wrong. Entrees were wrong. Two entrees came out 30 minutes after the first four. Second bottle of wine showed up after the first group finished eating. Not sure what our bill will look like. Waiting 25 minutes for a water. Don’t think it is coming. I am definitely not coming back.
