The customer service experience is awful in every department.
Some employees are helpful and others... well... let's just say not so much. Its really a hit or miss whether you'll have a positive experience versus a negative one.
A lot of your every day needs may run out, & you may have to return at a later date to buy them. However, they do gladly assist handicapped patrons, at their request, by putting heavy items in your cart, & delivering them to your car after checking out. I find that it's better to shop in the early evening, & to also pick up prescriptions, to avoid long cashier lines; also, use the Self Check Out, when possible, if you don't have heavy items to lift, for a quicker departure. Staff will also watch you get to your car safely after a late shopping trip.
Most employees are pleasant though dealing with people like me needing things that aren't accessible. There are only 2 handicap scooters with 1 being damaged, major issue for many I'm told. Many shelves are out of options that apparently were once available? I hope for the employees' sake (I'm sure customers aren't as nice when they can't get what they need) and the wonderful people in this small town, that Wal-Mart will supply NEW SCOOTERS FOR MOBILITY IMPAIRED as well as stock items that aren't sold elsewhere in this town. Walmart is my home away from home, anywhere; it shouldn't be any different here! I'm confidant that the nice employees here will provide them when the material is made available to them.
